PeriAnesthesia Nursing Core Curriculum, Preprocedure, Phase I and Phase II, PACU Nursing is a review text designed to be a resource for nurses working in the perianesthesia setting. It is intended to cover perianesthesia knowledge essential to practice in both the hospital-based or freestanding settings. Regardless of individual practice settings, there is a group of core competencies essential to providing good nursing care. This text is devided into seven sections to address these competencies. This text is also a resource for nurses preparing to take either the CPAN or CAPA certification examination. The text uses an outline format to delineate areas of perianesthesia practice.

This course consists of three quizzes, each worth 24 contact hours.
